What do you think about this!

McCann Milan is behind these eerie new ads for Casa do Menor in Italy. The print ad shows a girl covered in hands—a favored image in lots of PSA campaigns lately, serving as a metaphor for everything from AIDS to Parkinson's disease. The companion spot below is truly harrowing, showing a boy struggling for normalcy as he carries a dying version of himself through his daily life. Rough stuff, on a par with that German sexual-abuse ad with the slithering snake.

ANOTHER WEIRD GOOGLE SEARCH!

Do people really search this stuff

Wow! If you are the person googled this you may or may not need to rethink some things.

Type why in google!

Who actually searches this stuff

Ok so a friend showed this to me. This is crazy! So I typed why into google but didn't hit search. In the image you will see what came up as frequently search words. OK I would like to direct your attention to the the search that says "why won't my parakeet eat my diarrhea". Who the HELLLLLLLLLL looked this up. Why do you need to know this. I never thought about the crazy things people google, but I going to try and find a website showing all the crazy stuff people look up in google so check back soon.

Coding a Web Design for Speed and Quality

The beauty of being a web designer is creating a detailed, creative, and original web design in Photoshop, without having to (for the most part) think about how it will be coded.

Best Power Point Ever!

So i just gave my final presentation in my business of advertising class. I only wish it had went like this. One day if i ever have a high enough grade in a class where i can afford to fail a presentation i want to do this.

Craziest self portraits!

http://www.webdesignerdepot.com/2009/11/the-unbelievable-and-impossible-photos-of-li-wei/

Li Wei, a contemporary artist from Beijing China, has been taking self portraits to new heights… literally!

His gravity defying photos have been mesmerizing the world, capturing impossible looking moments of apparent extreme danger.

You’ll find Wei hanging on in dangerous situations, or crashing head on into sidewalks and cars.

Li Wei states that these images are not computer montages and that he works with the help of props such as mirrors, metal wires, scaffolding and acrobatics. He then removes the wires and scaffolding with Photoshop to create these seemingly impossible photos.

My First Web Site!!!!!!

OK! So I am an advertising design major. I know a lot of Adobe software but this is my first try at Dream Weaver. I only spent a few hours on it but i think it turned out alright. I wish i had more time to work on the design aspects, but the assignment was hand coding and if you have ever done any hand coding you know it can take some time. In the future i would like to add some flash work on the home page. As you can see in the screen shot on the left my home page is missing some images. Unfortunately i used some java script that is not supported by the free student domain this is currently uploaded. I will soon upload it to a different domain when i have modified the content to a personal website. The gallery is really cool. I hope you check back and visit my site when its fully up and running. Feel free to check it out.

6 Ways To Take Your Webdesign From Good To Great

The difference between good and great webdesign is relatively small. The average person may not be able to explain the tangible differences that make up great design, but they can usually spot a design they like. By examining some awesome sites, I’ll attempt to put my finger on some of the small details that make up the difference.

A little while back I wrote an article about the 4 Principles of Good Design for Websites, this article is somewhat of a continuation of those principles. In that article I went into detail about the important roles that contrast, repetition, alignment and proximity play in webdesign. This article will piggy back on those principles as I examine 6 ways you can take your webdesign from good to great.

This post is chock full of awesome examples. I made a conscience effort to only pick sites that were great all the way around. Visit this link to see the whole blog.
